About me

A little bit about me...

 

I spent my 20s and 30s building a career in PR & events, creating and managing press launches, events and shoots for some of the best known fashion, health & beauty brands. 

 

Working with florists to transform spaces was always my favourite aspect of events, I always loved how floral design could elevate the setting. For me, the room was never ready until the flowers were in place, but it wasn’t until an extended maternity leave and the loss of my Dad that I started to fully immerse myself in florals and start creating for myself. 

 

Feeling like there was something in it, I took a 6 week beginners floristry course and I was hooked, a new life was ignited leading to a year studying floristry at Plumpton College, followed by learning the mechanics of big installations amongst other industry-specific courses with Sussex flower school - working all the while (and still today) with an incredible florist at her beautiful florist shop covering luxury retail, weddings, funerals and events. I also freelance during peak wedding season, and have now built my love for floral design into my own business.
